Borussia Dortmund secured their first victory in the Bundesliga this season as they defeated Hertha BSC at home on Sunday afternoon.

The match was a closely contested affair, with both teams creating chances throughout the game. However, it was Borussia Dortmund who came out on top thanks to two goals from their star strikers, Erling Haaland and Jadon Sancho.

Haaland's goal came in the 27th minute after he received a pass from Sancho and volleyed the ball past Hertha goalkeeper Robin G留der. The second goal for Borussia Dortmund came just before halftime when Sancho scored his 11th goal of the season from a tight angle.

Hertha BSC, however, did not give up easily and managed to create some opportunities in the second half. But it was too little, too late as Borussia Dortmund held on for a clean sheet and moved up to fourth place in the table.

Overall, it was another impressive performance from Borussia Dortmund, who have been struggling to find form in recent weeks. They will now look to continue their good run of form as they take on Werder Bremen next weekend.
