Real Sociedad have announced that Isak has signed a new contract with the club, keeping him at the San Mames Stadium until 2029.

The Swedish striker, who joined the Spanish side in 2017 from Malmo, had his contract extended by two years earlier this month and now has a deal running until June 2028.

In a statement released on the club's official website, manager Iñaki Estévez said: "We're delighted to announce that we've agreed a new contract with Isak, which will see him stay at the club until 2029."

"His development is one of our main priorities, and we're confident that he'll continue to improve and reach even greater heights in the coming seasons," he added.

The 25-year-old has already made a significant impact since joining Real Sociedad, scoring 46 goals in just over three years at the club.

He was named La Liga Player of the Month for November last year after netting six goals in five games, and has continued to impress this season as well.

Isak has also been linked with a move away from the club, with reports suggesting that Manchester United were interested in signing him this summer.

However, it seems that the forward has no intention of leaving the San Mames Stadium anytime soon, and his new contract extension is a welcome boost for the club ahead of next season.
