The Premier League's Everton has reportedly agreed to sign French forward Ousmane Dembélé from Ligue 1 side Rennes for a record €30 million fee.
The 22-year-old is set to become the most expensive player in English football history, and his arrival at Goodison Park will be a significant boost for the club's attacking options.
Dembélé began his career with Barcelona before moving to Paris Saint-Germain in 2017. He then spent two seasons on loan at Borussia Dortmund before joining Rennes last summer.
The France international scored 14 goals and provided eight assists in all competitions for the Brittany outfit this season, earning him a move to England.
He will join up with new manager Carlo Ancelotti, who previously managed Dembélé at PSG.
The fee represents a massive investment by Everton, but it could pay off handsomely for the Toffees as they look to challenge for the top four next season.
Dembélé is expected to make his debut for the Blues when they face Aston Villa in their opening match of the season on August 12th.
