Brighton manager Graham Potter has confirmed that defender Mac Allister will extend his contract with the club until 2027.
The deal was announced on Tuesday and means that Allister will remain at the Amex Stadium for another three years, keeping him in the club until 2024.
Allister, who joined Brighton from Manchester United in January 2019, has made over 80 appearances for the club so far, scoring five goals and providing eight assists.
In addition to his defensive duties, Allister also provides cover at right-back when needed, making him a valuable asset to the team.
Potter praised Allister's dedication and commitment to the club, stating: "Mac is a great player and I'm delighted he's extended his stay here.
"He's been a fantastic addition to our squad since joining us last year and we're looking forward to seeing what he can do for us in the coming seasons."
Allister himself expressed his delight at the news, saying: "I'm really happy to have signed a new contract with Brighton.
"It's a big step for me personally and it shows how much I value my time here. I've enjoyed every minute of playing for this club and I'm excited to see where we can go together in the future."
